The following information presents our company and briefly outlines our services, capabilities and experience in regards to Refractories, Tile and Acid Brick. Thank you for this opportunity to describe some of the major services that our company specializes in and would like to provide to your organization. M. L. Smith, Jr., Inc. (MLS) was established in 1984 as a corporation, incorporated in the state of Louisiana. We are contractors, currently classified as a small business, conducting open (merit) shop operations. The company's refractories and corrosion resistant construction operations stem from almost fifty (50) years of industrial masonry experience, including more than thirty-five (35) years of specific service experience in refractories, tile and acid brick. From a prior, different M. L. Smith, Jr. masonry company formation in 1963, currently at least four other similar organizations have evolved. Today, MLS offers our continued, experienced, quality services with up-to-date technological advances in installation procedures and materials. We work and compete nationwide and shop install linings in units for shipment worldwide. Our current main offices and facilities in Ruston include a 4,000 square foot office complex, a 14,000 square foot refractories installation, handling & storage warehouse, a 20,000 square foot steel fabrication shop, an additional 4,000 square feet of covered laydown and storage and ten acres of laydown yard and area for future expansion. Combined with our API Tank & ASME Pressure Vessel operations, we are a full service industrial team, offering a total, quality package.
